Duke commit Zion Williamson went down awkwardly on his hand after getting his pocket picked by a defender and dislocated his thumb. He would stay down on the floor after the injury and leave the game.
In full speed you don’t see much of anything, but in slow motion it’s pretty clear his thumb gets dislocated after his hand hit the floor. Hopefully his thumb is okay and he avoided any ligament damage.
It might be in Duke’s best interest to have him not doing much more than shooting drills. You would hate for them to catch some bad luck and have their top recruit go down with a serious knee injury.
