Cubs pitcher Yu Darvish took the mound for the Single A South Bend Cubs on Monday against the West Michigan Whitecaps.  The rehab appearance was his first mound appearance since May.

Darvish threw 57 pitches in five innings, allowing three hits, one run with no walks while striking out five.  He then treated both teams to a steak dinner.

Darvish has to spend that $126 million on something.  Why not feed a bunch of hungry minor leaguers?
