Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes missed all of last season with an ankle injury. All that was said about the injury at the time was that he suffered it during a fall on his ranch in Florida.
It turns out Cespedes suffered the injury during an interaction with a wild boar, which apparently run wild on his ranch. It is reported that he stepped in a hole after a boar charged at him.
