Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he removed Yasiel Puig from today’s lineup because of a sore hip. The reason for his sore hip, according to Roberts, is because of his new cleats.
“He didn’t put in his orthotics.”
Another one of those odd baseball injuries. Puig might need another trip back to the minor leagues to get his sh*t together.
You can’t be forgetting your orthotics at the big league level.
#Dodgers Dave Roberts said Yasiel Puig was originally in the lineup for today's #lidlifter but was scratched due to a sore hip. Nothing serious. Roberts blamed Puig's new cleats for causing problem. "He didn't put in his orthotics."
