Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman said he’s already receiving phone calls to see if catcher Gary Sanchez is available for a possible trade.
Cashman made it clear that despite his defensive issues and his .186 batting average last season, Sanchez is not available and will be the Yankees catcher next season.
“We know what he’s capable of doing, and I’m already getting phone calls to be honest from clubs trying to knock on our door to see if he’s available. And he’s not. … He will be our catcher.”
Cashman says that now. Everyone is available for the right price.
