Wrestling star Jordan Myles announced Wednesday he quit his job with WWE.

In a video he posted to Twitter, Myles said he no longer wanted to work for the company.

Myles, who had risen to prominence as ACH on the independent circuit, signed with WWE and reported to the Performance Center in February. The 31-year-old made his NXT television debut in the first round of the NXT Breakout Tournament in July.

He defeated Cameron Grimes in the tournament final and unsuccessfully challenged for the NXT Championship, losing to Adam Cole on the Sept. 4 edition of NXT.

While Myles’ stock appeared to be on the rise, things took a turn when he drew attention to a WWE T-shirt that he believed referenced racial stereotypes.
