On Monday night in New Orleans WWE Diva Paige announced her retirement from competition in the ring. She hasn’t wrestled in the ring since suffering an injury in December of last year and will continue her managerial role with the WWE.
The 25 year old, two time Divas Champion, made her retirement announcement from the same city where she made her WWE debut four years ago. The fans showed their appreciation for her brief career.

The story lines might be fake, but as we’ve seen time and time again, the punishment the wrestler’s body takes is very much real. Her fellow wrestlers showed her their appreciation as well.
You’ve done so much for women’s wrestling at such a young age and accomplished so much @RealPaigeWWE . This is heartbreaking. #ThankYouPaige
