Padres third baseman Wil Myers took a grounball to the face during warmups on Wednesday night. He was then scratched from the lineup.

Myers needed a stitch on the bottom of his nose and is expected to be okay. He won’t miss much time, which is good news.
The Padres will need him in the lineup so they can lose by less runs than they do when he’s out of the lineup
