The Chicago White Sox announced on Sunday that they have called up pitching prospect Michael Kopech.  The right handed flamethrower has a 7-7 record in 24 starts with a 3.50 ERA with the Triple A Charlotte Knights.  He added 170 strikeouts in 126.1 innings.

Making the trip to Chicago is his actress girlfriend Vanessa Morgan.  Talk about bringing the heat.  She had a special message for Kopech as she goes along for the ride.

Kopech will get his first MLB start for the White Sox on Tuesday.  Let’s hope Vanessa gets a little camera time.
