Western Kentucky head coach, Rick Stansbury, called Laura Britt “honey” during his postgame interview after beating UAB.  He did so while dismissing her lazy reporter question about the next team Western Kentucky will be playing.

Britt’s question was about Old Dominion, the team Western Kentucky plays next and already beat twice this season.  Add his honey, his dismissal of her question and the fact that Thursday was International Women’s Day and how is this guy still walking around?

At the very least, he should have been fired immediately and be run out of his home with pitchforks.  Was it the best choice of words?  Probably not, but let’s not act like it’s some sort of war crime.
