John Beilein was ejected for the first time in his tenure at Michigan after arguing a call at the end of the first half.
After Penn State scored a layup to extend its lead to 40-27 as the first-half buzzer sounded, Beilein exchanged words with the officials. He was assessed with two technical fouls and ejected from the game

That was his first ejection in over 20 years.
"I haven't been thrown out of a game since (1978-79). That's about 20 years before most of you were born."

The Wolverines lost to the Nittany Lions, 75-69.
