Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic wasn’t selected to the All-Star team despite having an outstanding first half to his rookie season. The 19-year-old is averaging 20.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists a game this season.
The moment Luka found out he hadn’t been selected was caught on camera and ruined his whole vibe. He was flying high after the Kristaps Porzingis trade and the news took him down a few notches.
The news apparently hit Doncic pretty hard. Despite warming up for the game on Thursday night against the Pistons, he ended up not playing in the game with a sore left ankle.
His ankle might be a little sore, but we know Luka sat out on Thursday night with a broken heart.
