Illinois currently has their hands full with Eastern Michigan. Allowing free shots on the quarterback isn’t going to help matters either. That’s just what happened on Saturday afternoon.
The Illinois offensive linemen forgot to block Eastern Michigan defensive lineman Shawn Simeon. Combine that with the fact that quarterback Brandon Peters never saw him coming and you have a vicious hit for a sack.
Peters was slow to get up after being decleated by the huge hit.
