Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s 3 year old son, Isaiah, was as blown away as we all were by his mother’s National Anthem performamce before Game 2 of the Jets-Predators series. She posted the heartwarming video on Instagram.
As a child, I wanted nothing more than to make my parents proud of me…and now, as a mother, I want to make my child proud… He never really gets to see me sing because he’s in bed before I go on stage, but last night he was there to watch his daddy play…and he also got see his mommy sing for a minute. Sunday was a big day for the entire family. Carrie nailed the anthem, the Predators evened the series and Isaiah got to watch mom and dad perform.
This is what the playoffs are all about. This and the blood and bruises and fighting and head injuries. It’s a beautiful thing isn’t it?
