Draymond Green is a warrior on the court, and he just so happens to play for a team called the Warriors.
The owner of the Warriors Joe Lacob recently spoke about Draymond Green’s play, saying he always knew Draymond would be fine even while he struggled at times.
“He’s Draymond Green,” Lacob told The Athletic. “I wasn’t worried. I want Draymond Green to be here forever. He’s as Warrior as they come.”
Draymond Green went on a strict diet and started ramping up workouts on off days after the All-Star break.
“All this year I don’t think I was in great shape at all,” Green told reporters according to Sporting News. “Part of it was I wasn’t healthy most of the year. Really just locking in and focusing on my body, getting it healthy and ready for this time of year has been important. I feel great out there. I think it’s showing in my play. But it’s a long road for what we want to do. Just got to continue to do the things that I’ve been doing, continue to try to bring it on the floor.”
Green and the Warriors are currently up 2-0 on the Houston Rockets in the second round of the playoffs. The Warriors are now heavily favored to advance to the Western Conference Finals. In fact, many UK Bookies have the Warriors as the favorites to win the NBA title. Many sports bettors are placing wagers on the Warriors, in large part to Draymond Green’s great play in this series.
Green has been doing his usual stuff to keep the Warriors winning.
Sure now the Warriors owner wants him on his team forever, but what happens when his skills decline, who wants to deal with his nonsense then?
