The Toronto Blue Jays announced on Wednesday that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will make his Major League debut on Friday night in Toronto against the Oakland A’s.

Vlad Jr’s Hall of Fame father, Vladimir Guerrero, took to Twitter and congratulated his son on the call up. Vlad shared an adorable picture of his son when he was much younger.
My son! The country that saw you as a child will now see you turn into a big one.
Working hard everything can be done. I’m proud of you!
Love you! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/WJyLBVKWoR

Canada’s next big star is about to take over Toronto. Vlad Jr. is legit and probably could have seen time at the Major League level last year.
With that said, Blue Jays fans shouldn’t expect Guerrero, or any one player for that player, to save their franchise. He’s certainly going to be fun to watch.
