Blue Jays rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit his first career home run in front of the home crowd on Wednesday night. It’s his 5th long ball overall of the season.
Vlad Jr’s first blast at the Rogers Centre wasn’t a cheap one either. He obliterated a pitch into centerfield.

Unfortunately for the Blue Jays it was just a solo home run and they lost the game 6-5. They will be doing that a lot more this season, but as long as Vlad is in the lineup they will be able to put butts in the seats.
Nobody loves meaningless home runs more than the people of Toronto.
