Vince Carter isn’t playing a ton of minutes anymore and is hoping to avoid injury when he is on the floor. Wednesday night th Hawks were visiting one of his old teams, the Brooklyn Nets, when he caught an elbow.
The 41-year-old Carter went up for a rebound and caught an elbow in the face from Nets forward Rodions Kurucs. He was not happy about it at all.
When Kurucs came over to apologize and help Carter to his feet, he responded by slapping the Latvian player’s hand away. He followed the slap with a stare down of the Nets bench.

Carter might be 41 and at the end of his NBA career, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to sit by and take elbows without a response. Nobody wants that “I’m not mad, I’m disappointed” look from a man in his forties.
