Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen did not travel with his team to Los Angeles for Thursday night’s game against the Rams. He has been busy this week dealing with some mental health issues.
Prior to kickoff Griffen released a statement on social media addressing those issues. He apologized to everyone who was impacted and hopes to share his story once his issues are resolved.
At this point there isn’t a timetable for his return to the Vikings, but that’s not what is important right now. Hopefully Griffen is able to get his issues taken care of and is able to play again this season.
