Honest question: does he truly deserve to be HOF? Look at his production – never seemed dominant. Best year in terms of RECs and YDS was 1974 & he only had 2 TDs. He only cracked 1K yds twice. Only has 48 career TDs. Never had more than 62 RECs.
He was good. Not all-time great.

He felt like this might be his best and last chance to earn induction, but Rick Gosselin, who is a Hall of Fame voter, told him he might have another opportunity.
