Officers can be heard saying he was going to jail. This was before the substance on the car was tested.
Werts can also be heard saying it was bird poop on his car and that he had tried washing it off the day before.
It was later determined that the substance was not drugs at all.
Werts had been suspended by the team on Aug. 2, but was reinstated two days later once the drug charge was dropped.
