New York Mets pitcher Zack Wheeler had a strong start on Thursday afternoon against the Giants. He went 7 innings, gave up 3 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6.
As impressive as his outing was, Wheeler also managed another impressive feat. He bounced a breaking ball in the dirt that ended up catching the umpire in the junk.

If you’re the umpire you need to have a talk with the catcher about the strike zone shrinking the next time he doesn’t make an attempt to block a ball in the dirt.
You don’t want to take too many baseballs to the junk, even with a cup on.
