UFC fighter Ray Borg shared proof that he suffered an eye injury during Conor McGregor’s wild attack at UFC 223’s media day. The cancellation of his bout with Brandon Moreno due to injury was questioned after he appeared to be just fine following the attack.
Ray Borg vs Brandon Moreno is canceled, sources say. Borg suffered an eye injury as a result of glass shattering. Cancelation first reported by @bokamotoESPN.

Borg was sitting next to Michael Chiesa, who had to withdraw from his fight due to a cut he suffered when McGregor broke a window in the van they were leaving the Barclays Center in.
Borg claims to have had glass in his eye, a claim that many disputed, after he was seen on camera not showing any signs of injury following the incident.

Borg attempted to quiet the haters by posting proof on social media, that he did indeed, suffer an eye injury and had to have glass removed.
Something tells me there will still be some keyboard gangsters who doubt the validity of his injury. It’s hard to argue with Borg’s proof and at the same time, he didn’t look injured at all after the incident.
