The first fight of the night at UFC Utica didn’t go as planned for Jarred Brooks. He ended up losing his flyweight fight with Jose Torres after he tried to slam Torres.
Brooks, who was winning the fight at the time, tried an unusual slam and ended up knocking himself out. Not exactly what he expected to happen, but if you look at where Brooke’ head was in mid-air it’s the only outcome.

Maybe next time try a more conventional slam. This one isn’t going to end well in the Octagon.
