Welterweight Jorge Masvidal made history on Saturday night at UFC 239 with a flying knee knockout of Ben Askren. The KO was the fastest in UFC history taking just five seconds off of the clock in the first round.
Masvidal opened the fight by sprinting towards his opponent and perfectly timing a knee to Askren’s chin. Askren immediately stiffened up and dropped to the canvas. He ate a couple of unnecessary shots for good measure.

The two had been engaged in verbal warfare before the fight and there was no love lost after the brutal knockout.
Rogan: Why the flying knee?
Masvidal: Because he’s a bum.

Jorge doesn’t play around. He’s going to try to knock your head off and when he does, he shows absolutely no respect for his opponent.
