Kobe Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna had her sights set on playing for the UConn women’s basketball team when she went to college.
Unfortunately Gianna will never get to fulfill that dream. She, her father and 7 others lost their lives on Sunday in a helicopter crash.

The team honored her on Monday night by saving her a seat on the team bench. They had flowers and a custom jersey placed on one of the seats.
