Tyreek Hill’s attorney N. Trey Pettlon sent a four-page letter sent to the NFL on Thursday and leaked it to ESPN. The purpose of the letter was to dispute the audio the Chiefs receiver’s fiancee Crystal Espinal released to KCTV last week.
Included in the letter is an alleged text exchange between Hill and Espinal. In the exchange Espinal claims she’s the one who injured their son and blamed it on Hill.
Tyreek: “Crystal you know I didn’t cause any bruising or harm to [our son.] But for some reason I still may be charged.”
Crystal: “I know you didn’t. I did. I hurt [our son.] I’m the one that did it. I was hurt and mad at you so I blamed you for everything.”
If anyone actually thinks this is any less than a staged text exchange to try to combat the release of the audio, then you’ve probably fallen for one of those emails from a prince who needs just a little bit of money wired to them, but promise to send you millions.
No doubt about it, the NFL will fall for it and Hill will go unpunished.
