News broke on Friday afternoon that Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs died of a drug and alcohol overdose. The 27-year-old’s autopsy revealed he choked on his own vomit after taking high doses of opioids and alcohol.
The Skaggs family released a statement saying that they were shocked by the news of his drug use and vowed to find out how the MLB pitcher ended up with the drugs, including who gave them to him.
