Former Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts is drawing some attention as the NFL Draft approaches. According to Ian Rapoport, two interesting teams, the Chargers and the Packers, have been in touch with him and are monitoring him.
Both teams had meetings setup with Hurts and have done virtual calls with him. Both teams already have veteran quarterbacks expected to lead their teams next season.
Hurts is projected to be a second or third-round pick. This is the first we’re hearing about the Packers having interest in him, but the Chargers were rumored in early March to be interested.
