It looks like the Minnesota Twins have a new mascot. For the second straight night a squirrel made an appearance during a game at Target Field.
In the bottom of the 5th inning the squirrel sprinted across the field and through Twins outfielder Max Kepler’s legs as he took a lead off of first base.
Kepler had no clue that the squirrel was that close to him. The umpire noticed the streaking squirrel and called time before the pitch was thrown to let the furry little creature make its way off the field.
