In a tied game with 18 seconds on the clock, in their own territory, Tulane ran a fake kneel down play to setup the game winning touchdown and avoid overtime. The trick play moved Tulane near midfield with plenty of time on the clock left to try to win the game.
And that’s just what they did.
Tulane threw the game winning touchdown with just three seconds left on the clock to send Houston home with a 1-3 record on the young season.
