President Trump had some thoughts on Dodgers manager Dave Roberts’ decision to remove starter Rich Hill. The premature removal ended up costing Los Angeles.
Hill was rolling at the time, having just recorded a strikeout to get the first out in the 7th inning with a 4-0 lead. The relievers immediately gave up 3 runs and ultimately the game.
Watching the Dodgers/Red Sox final innings. It is amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher who is loose & dominating through almost 7 innings, Rich Hill of Dodgers, and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked. 4 run lead gone. Managers do it all the time, big mistake!

The move was such a bad one, even Trump knew it. If that’s not enough to get Roberts fired when the Dodgers lose the World Series, then he’s untouchable.
