Do not subtweet Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer. Baseball writer Keith Law learned that the hard way on Wednesday night.
It all started with Mike Trout’s stats with the bases loaded. There are a couple of 69s mentioned and it was suggested that Bauer approved the tweet.
With his grand slam and RBI single with the bases loaded tonight, Mike Trout is now hitting .420 in 69 at-bats in his career with the bases loaded. He's 29-for-69 with six homers and 101 RBIs.

Trevor Bauer approved this tweet.

That’s where things went wrong for Law. He decided to weigh in on the tweet by subtweeting Bauer. That’s when Bauer stuffed Law into a locker.
Don’t. Bauer doesn’t deserve the attention.

Neither do you, little guy. Keep my name out your mouth and we can coexist. Keep pulling this subtweet bs and we can go to war. Just make sure you bring your booster stool to stand on. I don’t like punching down on people. 👊🏻 https://t.co/rX8yVU2NuB

I’m sure Law doesn’t want to go to war with Bauer, nobody does. He has no problems mixing it up on social media.
