The Cleveland Indians announced on Tuesday that they placed pitcher Trevor Bauer on the 10 day disabled list with a stress facture of his right ankle.

Bauer, who left his start on Sunday early after taking a line drive off his right ankle, is in the middle of a CY Young caliber season with a 12-6 record and 2.22 ERA.

The first place Indians are hoping they aren’t without Bauer for too long.  They will need him on top of his game as they get ready for the postseason.
