Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer, who got his finger stuck in a drone two years ago prior to a postseason start, tweeted out on Monday that he had gotten his finger stuck in a drone again.
The tweet comes as trade rumors swirl around him. Apparently the trade rumors have sparked more jokes about drone accidents. So Bauer sent the tweet as a joke.
Welp…got my finger stuck in a drone blade again.

The 27-year-old right-hander then followed up the original tweet with a picture of his middle finger in a drone as message to the haters still making drone jokes.

Bauer later explained that the drone tweets were all part of his plan to reply to “all the comedians out there still thinking drone jokes are funny.”
All part of the plan. Just wanted to spam reply my pic to all the comedians out there still thinking drone jokes are funny lol it’s working

The drone tweets definitely got people’s attention. This might have also reminded teams thinking of trading for him that he likes to tweet and those tweets are sometimes controversial.
