Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was in attendance at the National Championship game on Monday night between his alma mater, Texas Tech and Virginia.  After the Red Raiders made a big second half comeback to tie the game, the camera found Mahomes celebrating.

The camera also caught Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce standing behind him making the most of his opportunity to be seen by chugging a beer.

In the end, Mahomes went home disappointed as Virginia ripped Texas Tech’s heart out.  But he’ll always have his special moment with Kelce to look back on fondly.
