Today is trans day of visibility and I’m beyond proud to be a transgender woman! It took me 30 years to get to the place in my life where I could finally accept myself. Now, I live my life out loud with no regrets. ———————————————————— What kept me alive during those years I struggled with my identity was the game of basketball. Sports provides us with community and a sense of belonging. Sadly, there are many in the country hell bent on stripping that community away from our trans youth. Idaho just passed two such laws and it’s unacceptable. We deserve equality and the freedom to exist, participate, and thrive in sports and society. ———————————————————— Visibility is critical today. We must be seen, heard, and taken seriously. That visibility doesn’t just apply to us…ALLIES, we need you to do more than like our posts online. Stand up, speak out, and be heard. Help us break down the stigmas and fears society has placed on us so we can have equality in this world. The bills popping up across the country can be stopped by YOU so please help us!! ———————————————————— Thank you @tomboyx for the trans pride collection…we need more brands to be inclusive of us and our bodies. Everything is super comfortable!!! 💙💗🤍💗💙 #tomboyxtranspride #tomboyx #tomboyxpartner #tdov

Best of luck on your WNBA quest.
Hopefully they’ll figure out a way to save the season.
