A track worker was a split second from disaster at the IBSF World Cup event at Lake Placid when the four-man Monaco team came inches from taking him out.
The worker reportedly went onto the track during the Monaco team’s test run, thinking the bobsled had stopped its descent after overturning.
But the four-man team had returned upright and was heading towards the finish line.
The man jumped to the side of the track just as the bobsled passed.
Close call in Lake Placid! ?
A track worker didn’t know the flipped Monaco car had turned back upright. He jumped off the track just in the nick of time.

The bobsled was clocked at 75 MPH, so a hit might just have killed him.
That guy is pretty lucky.
