Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly found a surprise in his glove after he let former Cardinals manager Tony La Russa borrow his glove. The retired manager borrowed the glove to throw out the first pitch before Thursday’s Yankees-Red Sox game.

How did La Russa not know immediately that the giant ring slipped off of his finger? That thing has to weigh a ton. Maybe he isn’t used to wearing it and only takes it out for special occasions, like throwing out the first pitch at Fenway.
Kelly should expect and get a reward for returning it and not selling it online. He very easily could have secured a nice sum of money for the one of a kind World Series ring.
