Not surprising to anyone, it was Tom Brady’s idea to have Rob Gronkowski follow him to Tampa Bay. What might be a little surprising is when he suggested that his favorite target might follow him.
According to reports, Brady floated the idea to both the Chargers and the Buccaneers while he was discussing the possibility of signing with each team.
Gronk was obviously open to the idea and the rest is history.
