Sunday Night Football’s Al Michaels revealed that prior to the Patriots Week 9 loss to the Ravens, an 8-0 Tom Brady told them he was unhappy.
Brady’s final season in New England was a rocky one to say the least. They still went 12-4 and hosted a playoff game, a Wild Card game loss to the Titans, but he was visibly frustrated throughout.
The lack of offensive weapons became too much for Brady to return to New England and he signed with the Buccaneers and their offensive weapons.
The writing was apparently on the wall as early as Week 9.
