Via Palm Beach Post:
The six-time Super Bowl champion is becoming a member at hallowed Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach. Outside the Cut first reported the news Sunday and the Palm Beach Post confirmed it Monday by speaking with a Seminole member, who asked to remain anonymous because of club rules.
Brady won’t be playing at Seminole any time soon, however. The club closed three weeks ago because of the coronavirus, ahead of its normal Mother’s Day weekend closing, and doesn’t usually re-open until late-October.
Seminole was designed by Donald Ross in 1929 and renovated by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2017. It is ranked 12th among the top 100 U.S. golf courses by Golf Digest. Seminole hosts the Walker Cup next year, a match between top amateurs from the U.S. versus a team from Great Britain/Ireland.
Brady becoming a member at Seminole is a good fit for both sides. Seminole is one of the world’s most private clubs, and Brady has spent most of his NFL career saying only what needs to be said, nothing more.
Tom is doing a lot for a guy who should be at home during quarantine.
