Just a couple of years ago Todd Gurley was one of the best running backs in the NFL and landed a a four-year, $60 million contract extension. The deal included $45 million in guarantees.
Nobody would have guessed then that he would be released just shy of two years after signing the deal. But that’s exactly what has happened.
Gurley didn’t seem too worried about being out of a job. He took to Twitter with a joke about being released and said it was “All Business Nothing Personal.”
