Mets third baseman Todd Frazier made what everyone assumed was a great catch on Monday in Los Angeles. He chased a foul ball into the stands and the ball was in his glove when he entered the seats.
Upon further review, Frazier didn’t actually come out of the stands with the ball. He actually ended up with a rubber toy ball, but he played it off well enough to sell the out.

The Mets won the game 4-2. Who knows what would have happened on the next pitch had it been correctly called a foul ball. If the Dodgers end up missing out on the playoffs this play could turn out to have been the play that changed the course of their season.
