The third, and let’s hope final fight, between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz took place on Saturday night as a part of Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy MMA promotion.
It was the first fight for Liddell in 8 years and it was clear that he should have never been cleared to fight. The 48-year-old still can’t take a punch, the same issue that was present in his final handful of fights in the UFC (thanks to Rashad Evans).
43-year-old Tito Ortiz ended the fight in the first round after landing a couple of right hands. Liddell dropped and ate a few more punches while unconscious on the canvas.

The fight was more sad than the final chapter to a fight trilogy. There’s no way Liddell should be allowed to fight again.
