The most famous Minor League player in the game, Tim Tebow, was invited to Spring Training with the Mets this year.  The Double A All-Star isn’t expected to make the team when the season starts, but could be a September call up if he plays well in Triple A.

On Saturday the former NFL quarterback proved he’s fully recovered from a hand injury that cut his season short last year.  Despite being robbed of extra bases on the play, Tebow made solid contact in his first action of the year. 

Robbing Tim Tebow of hits isn’t going to help you make any new fans.  There are a lot of people rooting for the former quarterback.
