Former Cy Young Award winning pitcher Tim Lincecum is trying to work his way back to the big leagues in the Texas Rangers organization. On Monday night he made his first appearance.
It wasn’t a great outing for the three time World Series champ. Lincecum finished with one inning pitched, two runs given up, two strikeouts and one dropped glove.
The last one overshadowed his rusty outing overall. Lincecum obviously has some work to do before he’s ready for a return to the MLB, including remembering how to keep his glove on his hand.
Good luck Tim. Pitching at a high level is a ton of work. Especially when you’re trying to get back to your former self.
