On Friday, the MLB handed down suspensions for the players involved in the White Sox and Royals bench clearing incident on Wednesday. Royals pitcher Brad Keller received a five game suspension for drilling Tim Anderson after the White Sox shortstop pimped a home run.
Anderson was suspended for using a racially charged word.

The racially charged word Anderson used turned out to be the n-word. He supposedly said, “weak ass f*cking n-word.”
During the benches-clearing incident, White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson called Royals pitcher Brad Keller a "weak-ass f—ing n-word," sources tell ESPN. Anderson, who was hit by a Keller pitch one at-bat after he hit a home run and flipped his bat, was suspended for one game.

Anderson told reporters after his suspension was handed down that he would not appeal it and will serve it on Friday night against the Detroit Tigers.

Whether or not you agree that Anderson should be suspended for using the n-word doesn’t really matter. He should have been suspended for escalating the bench clearing incident.
If you want to bat flip, go ahead. You might get drilled with a pitch your next at-bat.
If you’re cool with that, take your base without saying a word when you get hit. The pitcher will be ejected and/or suspended and you get to add to your on base percentage.
