Woods is a long-time Nike endorser who started with the company on the day he turned professional in 1996. He had this to say about Colin Kaepernick’s controversial Nike spot.
The ad is narrated by Kaepernick, the former NFL quarterback who has been out of the league the last two seasons in the aftermath of his protests.
The spot touches on the controversy of NFL players protesting racial inequality, police brutality and other issues by demonstrating during the playing of the national anthem.
Woods shot even-par 70 Friday in Round 2 of the BMW Championship and sits T-11 at 8 under par for the week.
Last week, Tiger Woods mentioned all of us must respect the office of the president. This past Thursday, he responded favorably to the new Nike ad featuring Colin Kaepernick. Doesn’t that seem a little two face to you?
