Thunder star Russell Westbrook finished the season with a triple double. His second straight season of doing so.
Westbrook put together an incredible rebound and assist game in the final game of the regular season. He played out of his mind racking up 20 rebounds and 19 assists to wrap up the triple double average.
During the performance Thunder announcer Brian Davis used a racist phrase in a failed attempt to praise Westbrook’s play. He said of Westbrook that he was playing “out of his cotton picking mind.”
Not much to say here. It’s pretty obvious here that this is not the best choice of words.
